Senegal

Senegal is een van de weinige Afrikaanse landen die nooit een staatsgreep heeft meegemaakt en heeft twee vreedzame machtsoverdrachten gehad. Worstelen is de nationale sport en populairder dan voetbal. 'Teranga' (gastvrijheid) is zo centraal in de cultuur dat het nationale voetbalteam ernaar vernoemd is.

Senegal is one of the few African countries that has never experienced a coup and has had two peaceful transfers of power. Wrestling is the national sport, more popular than football. 'Teranga' (hospitality) is so central to the culture that the national football team is named after it.
